The Demon Kingdom (Boiling Isles)

The Conformatorium: A brutal and grim prison run by Warden Wrath. It's where Belos locks up wild witches and any citizen who doesn't want to conform to society's rules. Bonesborough Market: Central trading plaza where merchants of all kinds sell potions, monster parts, spells, and human trash smuggled through Eda. The Bonesborough Library: Where Amity works as a monitor. It contains secret rooms hidden behind books, historical archives of the islands, and areas where the books literally come alive at night. Titan's Veins: Deep caverns beneath the island where the pure blood and raw magic of the dead Titan flows, protected by bizarre ecosystems of ecoplasma monsters.

🏠 The Human Kingdom (Gravesfield)

The Noceda Residence: Home of Camila Noceda (Luz's mother). It becomes the temporary refuge headquarters where Luz, Amity, Willow, Gus, and Hunter live and hide during the first episodes of season 3. The Gravesfield Cemetery and Cabin: Location of the structure of the old abandoned cabin that houses the passage of the original dimensional portal built by Philip centuries ago. Gravesfield Historical Archive: Local museum where diaries, colonial records, and old clues about the Wittebane family and the disappearance of brothers Philip and Caleb in the past are kept.

The Boiling Isles: The main magical world. It is the giant corpse of an ancient Titan surrounded by an ocean of boiling water. The Owl House: Home to Eda, Luz, King, and Hooty. It is isolated in the forest and serves as a refuge from the Emperor. Hexside School of Magic: The school where Luz and her friends study. It is divided by the colors of the magic tracks (Abomination, Plants, Illusion, Bards, etc.). Bonesborough: The main city of the Boiling Isles. It has a bustling market where Eda sells human contraband. Emperor's Castle: A floating and dark fortress where Belos rules and commands the Emperor's Clan. The Knee: A mountainous and frozen region located at the Titan's knee. A dangerous place where Luz learned her first glyphs of wild magic. Titans Island: A distant and hidden location where King discovers his origins and where the Collector creates his toy palace at the end of the series. Gravesfield (Connecticut): Luz's hometown in the Human Kingdom. Includes her mother's (Camila's) house and the abandoned cabin where the dimensional portal is located.

Odalia Blight: Manipulative and cold mother of Amity, Edric, and Emira. Owner of Blight Industries. She is only concerned with social status and sells weapons (Abomatons) to Emperor Belos, even knowing about the Unity Day genocide. Alador Blight: Amity's father. A brilliant inventor, but initially distracted and submissive to his wife. He eventually wakes up to reality, defends his children, and destroys his own factory to stop Odalia. Edric and Emira Blight: Amity's older twin siblings. They are playful, use Illusion magic to play pranks, and, despite teasing Amity, are protective and care deeply for her. Headmaster Hieronymus Bump: The eccentric headmaster of Hexside School of Magic. He uses a demon palisman (Frewin) covering his eyes to be able to see. Although he seems rigid and follows the Emperor's rules, he loves his students and breaks the traditional system to allow Luz and her friends to study multiple types of magic.

The Rebels (Secret Anti-Authoritarian Faction)

Raine Whispers (Leader of the Bards Clan): Non-binary person, extremely shy, but brilliant. Uses musical magic to counter spells. Leads the underground resistance against Unity Day. Darius Deamonne (Leader of the Abominations Clan): Elegant, dramatic, and obsessed with cleanliness. Can transform their own body into liquid abomination matter. Acts secretly with Raine and becomes a mentor and father figure to Hunter. Eberwolf (Leader of the Creature Care Clan): A tiny humanoid warlock with wild animal traits and instincts. Communicates through growls and controls enormous monsters. Works alongside Darius and Raine in the resistance.

👁️ Those Loyal to the Emperor (Supporters and Fanatics)

Terra Snapdragon (Plant Clan Leader): A sadistic and intimidating elderly witch. She enjoys manipulating people psychologically and uses poisonous plants and thorns for torture and control. Adrian Graye Vernworth (Illusion Clan Leader): An egocentric and vain theater director. He attempts to invade Hexside to force students to accept clan marks. Mason (Build Clan Leader): A gigantic, muscular, and taciturn wizard focused on brute force and earth/stone control. Hettie Cutburn (Healing Clan Leader): A frighteningly cold-looking doctor who prioritizes military orders over compassion. Osran (Oracle Clan Leader): An old wizard who uses mystical eyes and destiny reading to hunt traitors. Vitimir (Potions Clan Leader): A plague doctor-like being who uses poisonous gases and highly unstable acidic potions.

👑 The Core of the Imperial Palace

Emperor Belos / Philip Wittebane: A manipulative, fanatical, and cruel villain. A human disguised as a wizard who spent 400 years consuming the souls of palismans to extend his life. His original body became a mass of rotting green mud. Kikimora: Belos's diminutive, envious, and neurotic personal assistant. She is extremely jealous of Hunter.

Luz Noceda: An optimistic, creative, and persistent human. She has no magic of her own. She uses paper glyphs (Light, Ice, Plant, Fire). Amity's girlfriend. Eda Clawthorne (The Owl Woman): A rebellious witch and Luz's mentor. Cursed to transform into an owl monster. She lost her pure magic but uses potions. King Clawthorne: A small baby Titan. Luz's best friend. He has the power to emit a devastating sonic scream ("Weh!"). Amity Blight: A prodigy witch of Abomination magic. She starts as Luz's rival but falls in love with her. Daughter of a wealthy and strict family. Willow Park: A shy witch who becomes extremely powerful in Plant magic. She practices the sport Grudgby. Gus Porter: A prodigy witch and expert in Illusion magic. Fascinated by human culture. Hunter (The Golden Guard): Clone (Dark Rooster) created by Belos. He redeems himself, escapes the palace, and becomes friends with the Light group. He uses a bird palisman (Flapjack). Emperor Belos (Philip Wittebane): The great villain. A 17th-century Puritan human who hates witches. He created the clan system to drain everyone's magic on Unity Day. The Collector: A childlike and immortal cosmic entity. Possesses divine powers to alter reality. He only wants to play, but doesn't understand mortality. Hooty: Demon of the house that serves as the very structure and defense system of the Owl House. Eccentric and talkative. Lilith Clawthorne: Eda's older sister. Former leader of the Emperor's Clan. She cursed Eda, but regretted it and shared the curse with her. Raine Whispers: Leader of the Bards' Clan. Eda's former love interest. Secretly leads the resistance against Emperor Belos.
