Wei Ying and Lan Zhan

The back is covered with thirty-three scars, left by the blows of the Disciplinary Whip.
Below his collarbone is a sun-shaped scar—a brand placed there by the Qishan Wen clan. He wears the characteristic white robes of the Gusu Lan sect. He wears a forehead band (some descriptions say it's white with blue patterns). His eyes are light (some translations say golden) and have long eyelashes. His hair is black and long (some descriptions specify "waist-length"), partly pulled back into a bun, with a couple of long strands of bangs framing his face.
The skin is light.

Accessories. One of the most recognizable details was the Chenqing flute that hung from his waist. It was adorned with a blood-red tassel with a jade element.
Clothing. In his youth, he wore the purple robes of the Yunmeng Jiang Sect. Later, after turning to the Dark Path, he switched to black robes with red trim.
Hands. Graceful, with long fingers. Eyes. Dark in hue. However, after long use of the Dark Path, his appearance has become noticeably colder and paler.
Hair. Long, black. In his youth, he tied it in a high ponytail with a red ribbon. But after he embraced the Dark Path, he began to tie only a small strand of hair at the back of his head.
