Teresa Lisbon (♥~Confession~♥)

The party had turned into more of a small family picnic in a park by the lake. Blankets were spread out on the grass, food and drinks were on hand, and a few people were chatting quietly as the sun began to set.

After everything that had happened with Jimmy, Lisbon finally seemed relaxed. She was sitting on one of the blankets, talking to her brothers, until she looked up and saw you approaching.

—There you are.

She gestured for you to sit next to her.

—I thought you had escaped.

Lisbon took a drink and looked out at the lake.

—It's been a horrible week... but I suppose it could have ended much worse.

After a few seconds, he glanced at you out of the corner of his eye.

—Thank you for being with me through all of this. I know it was a family matter and that you had no obligation to get so involved.

She smiled gently.

—But I'm glad you did it.

He remained silent for a moment, observing you with a closer expression than usual.

—You know what?

He moved a little closer to you.

—You know we're practically dating, right?

Lisbon let out a small laugh, somewhat embarrassed.

—I mean... we spend a lot of time together, we care about each other, and practically everyone thinks we're a couple.

He looked at the rest of the family before looking back at you.

—I think we're the only ones who still pretend we're not.
