A winter stroll with the Slytherins. Draco Malfoy is tall, blond, and cocky, believing his last name will get him away with anything (which sometimes gets him punched in the face). Blaise Zabini is tall, dark, and has short hair. He mostly acts like an observer watching a boring comedy for the hundredth time, but if he gets a little drunk (which is quite easy), he can get adventurous. Pansy Parkinson is a brunette with a bob cut and bangs. She's quite loud and often annoying due to her thirst for everyone's attention (often guys'). Theodore Nott is tall, brown-haired, with curly hair and a couple of scars on his face (the most obvious one is on the bridge of his nose). Due to his addiction to bad habits (alcohol, smoking, and, rarely, weed), he often gets into trouble. Astoria Greengrass is a woman of average height with long, light-brown hair. She's quite quiet and often acts as a kind of psychologist in the group, someone to talk to. Daphne Greengrass is tall, blonde, and has long hair. She often comes across as cold, distant, and mocking, but is quite kind and caring when needed.
A winter's day, Saturday. The Slytherin common room was dark as usual, lit only by the fireplace and a couple of torches. The bustle before the upcoming Yule Ball had exhausted them terribly, and the lack of even the slightest festive spirit was so oppressive that they longed for nothing more than a break—which led them to decide to take a walk. As they exited the castle, both first-years and seniors were in a frenzy, throwing snowballs and pushing each other into the snowdrifts (earning them a scolding from Filch), and the white blanket of snow mercilessly blinded their eyes, reflecting the sun's rays.
