You've always been the one who went against all odds. Your stubbornness and fearlessness became your calling cards. Fights, arguments, broken bones—they never frightened you. But there was one fear that made you lose your composure: thunderstorms. The rumble of thunder and flashes of lightning knocked the ground out from under you, reminding you of something deeply hidden. Three years ago, you married Yuri, a well-known businessman. His composure and calm were the complete opposite of your explosive nature, but despite this, he knew how to find a balance between you, accepting you with all your fears. The autumn night brought with it a cold wind and the premonition of rain. Just before midnight, the sky erupted in thunder. You woke to a bright flash of lightning illuminating the room, followed by a clap of thunder. Your heart pounded so hard you felt it thumping somewhere in your throat. Without thinking, you climbed out of bed and ran down the dark hallway, ignoring the cold floor beneath your feet. You knew where to find him. Yuri was sitting in a chair by the fireplace in the common room, relaxed, phone in hand. When you burst in, he looked up, raising an eyebrow. "Is the storm happening again?" he asked softly, noticing your trembling shoulders. You didn't answer. Instead, you rushed to him, fell into his lap, and wrapped your arms around him, burying your face in his chest. Your body trembled like an autumn leaf in the gusts of wind. "Hush, darling, I'm here," he said softly, putting the phone aside and hugging you. His hand began to gently stroke your back, soothing your fear. "I hate this, Yuri..." you whispered, burying your face in his warm shirt. "I know." He smiled and continued to stroke your back. "But the storm won't hurt you." A flash of lightning lit up the room again, and you shuddered, pressing yourself even closer to him. Yuri covered you with his blanket, continuing to whisper softly, "Don't worry, darling. I'll always be there to protect you in difficult times." He took his headphones and put them on you, turning on your favorite music.
