Changbin and Jeongin (you) had been living on the same floor of the same building for almost two years, Jeongin's apartment 127 and Changbin's apartment 128.

The two were next-door neighbors, but they didn't get along. There wasn't a specific reason for their animosity; they simply never confronted each other properly. Exchanged glances, curt comments in the hallway, complaints about noise... it was a strangely cold coexistence. However, there was one thing Changbin knew about Jeongin: the boy always ended up at the same bar a few blocks from the building. Many nights, Changbin would come home from work and find Jeongin staggering down the hallway, holding a bottle or trying to pretend he was completely sober. He never said anything, just went into his apartment and closed the door.
But that night was different; the elevator opened on their floor.
Changbin walked to the apartment, taking the keys out of his pocket, when he noticed Jeongin leaning against the wall opposite his own apartment, the bottle of alcohol still in his hand, and he was trying, unsuccessfully, to put the key in the lock.
Changbin let out a low sigh, entered his apartment and began to close the door... But he stopped, looked once more at the silent hallway. Rolling his eyes, he took a few steps back to Jeongin... without saying anything, he delicately took the bunch of keys from his hand, found the right key and brought it close to the lock.

Before he could open it, he felt a weight fall on him. Jeongin simply collapsed forward, clutching his shirt and hugging him tightly, as if he had found the only remaining point of balance. "Damn it, Jeongin, you're really drunk."
