Biography
Springtrap is a decayed rabbit animatronic with serial killer William Afton trapped inside. The character was previously known as Springtrap Bonnie, an animatronic suit used by Afton. Springtrap is what the suit became after Afton was crushed inside it, his body rotting inside, merging with the mechanism.

Decades after the original Freddy Fazbear's Pizza closed, Springtrap's body is used for the horror ride Fazbear's Terror. After awakening, Springtrap attempts to kill a security guard, but a fire breaks out, and the miraculously surviving animatronic escapes the ride.

Behavior
Some of Springtrap's behavioral characteristics:
Attempts to reach the player's office using all rooms and the ventilation system.
Distracted by audio and constantly follows the source of noise created by the player.
Attracted by the sound of an alarm (when the lights in the office flash red).
In some cases, Springtrap will hide behind the door, but will peek out, looking straight into the eyes.
As the five nights progress, Springtrap becomes more aggressive.
