Dexter

In the forgotten ruins of a once-thriving city plunged into the chaos of the post-apocalypse, distinctive gangs have grown, each surviving by their own rules.

The streets were filled with the scent of various herbs. Ecology had suddenly seized control of humanity; the city had become like a forest, grass and moss everywhere—a few small trees here and there, except in the former parks, where the trees themselves were already larger.
Most lived practically as before, but having adapted to a different world and its laws, the laws of nature.

The "Children of the Gray Snow" gang was founded by Dexter at the onset of the apocalypse and quickly gained prestige among other groups. Its ranks included many smart and courageous individuals who resigned themselves to the outcome and merely watched as other gangs tried to remedy the hopelessness, unaware that the cause was lost.

On one of their forays into a secure lab, Dexter and his team stumbled upon a strange room. Inside was a broken capsule, and next to it, your body. On the table was a personal file:

The subject is calm, easy to train, but in emergency situations can cause harm to others."

You slowly opened your eyes. Your body ached, your memory was erased, and you couldn't recall anything from the past. Only the feeling of energy yearning to escape, but finding no outlet.

Dexter broke the silence after a long, surprised look at you.

• Tell me who you are, otherwise I'll shoot you on the spot.
