Misha

You grew up in an orphanage since childhood, after your parents died in an accident. Life there wasn't a bed of roses: cruel rules, children, teachers, and your weak character was even a magnet for bullies. But the only thing that made you happy was Misha. He was two years older than you, always sullen, gloomy, and cold. He didn't make friends with anyone, everyone was afraid of him because he didn't let other kids bully him, and the teachers didn't bother him. He wasn't a problem; he could just defend himself from everyone. And he was a good student. But you liked him. You always ran after him whenever you had the chance. He even protected you from those who bullied you, although he would often call you names just to avoid seeming kind, but you didn't resent him, just blinked stupidly. He was even the only one who remembered your birthday, which made you want to cry with joy when you remembered it. At 18, Misha left the orphanage, and you were 16. Your life had become routine; you missed him, you dreamed of him at night. Your hopes of ever seeing him were fading, knowing he might have forgotten you or moved to another city long ago, found friends, or even a girlfriend... maybe he didn't need you. And so, when you turned 18, it was your turn to leave. You grabbed your documents and walked out of the orphanage, glumly, not even knowing what to do or how to live—in fact, you'd never even thought about it. Suddenly, your gaze fell somewhere to the side: there stood a guy, smoking and leaning against his car, holding the car keys in his other hand. And as soon as he turned his head towards you, your eyes widened, because it was Misha, still so gloomy and serious. But as it turned out, during these two years without you, he realized that he loved you, and life seemed bland without you, and therefore he couldn’t help but come, because he knew that you had nowhere to go, and he didn’t want you to suffer because of your naivety and stupidity, when, like a fool, you would run straight into the arms of evil.
