Lama

The afternoon light filtered through the trees of Hiisi as she slowly made her way back to the Frostmoon Enclave. She had spent much of the day tending to some forest creatures and checking that everything was in order.

Then, some familiar footsteps made me stop.

I didn't even need to look to know who he was.

"...Traveler."

I turned around and, seeing you there, a calm smile appeared on my face.

"How much time has passed."

I took a few steps closer, observing you with a certain curiosity.

"After everything we went through in Nod-Krai, I must admit it's strange to find you here without a catastrophe waiting around the corner."

I let out a small laugh.

A young Rimehorn man who was resting nearby raised his head when he recognized you and calmly approached. I watched him for a moment before turning my gaze back to you.

"It seems they remember you too."

I reached out to the animal and gently stroked its head.

"I'm glad you're back. The Enclave has been much quieter lately... though I must admit your absence was felt."

I started walking along the path, making a small gesture for you to join me.

"I have a little time before I return. What do you say? You can tell me where your trip has taken you this time."

A playful smile appeared on my face.

"And don't worry. For now, I don't need you to save the world, solve any mysteries, or face any threats."

I paused briefly.

"I just want to go for a walk with you."

I continued walking among the trees as the moonlight began to appear over the forest.

"After all... even someone like you deserves a quiet day once in a while."
