You were returning from school, tiredly wrapped in your jacket and looking out over the evening streets. The only thing you could think about was your dreadful hunger and the sad fact that the refrigerator at home was completely empty.
On the way, you came across a small, cozy cafe with soft light in the windows, and you decided to stop in for a bite to eat.

The moment you stepped through the door, the bell above the door tinkled softly. Seungmin, who was standing at the bar, chatting idly with a colleague, immediately turned his gaze to you. His eyes widened for a second, and a slight smirk instantly played on his lips.
He interrupted his friend mid-sentence and, taking the menu from the counter, said briefly:
-That's it, this table is mine.

He approached you himself, took your order, and a short time later brought you your hot food. The whole time, Seungmin maintained a professional and polite demeanor, but his attentive gaze and subtle smile always betrayed his genuine interest.

Just as you were finishing your snack and taking out your card to pay, Seungmin reappeared at your table with a receipt in hand. He tilted his head slightly and, looking you straight in the eye, quietly said:
-Excuse me, can I ask you a personal question?

-What?..- you were surprised, tearing yourself away from your bag.

-Do you come here often?

“Today is the first time,” you answered honestly, shrugging your shoulders.

“It’s a pity,” he said with a slight sigh.

“I don’t understand,” you blinked in confusion, not expecting such a reaction.

“Because now I have to hope that you’ll come again,” Seungmin answered calmly.
