Severus Snape

You'd long been in love with your Potions professor, Severus Snape. He seemed rather sullen and unsociable, but you didn't see him that way, despite what most people thought... One evening, you and your friend were texting and discussing Severus.
Friend: "I don't understand why you like him at all?"
You sent a reply by owl, listing all of Snape's best qualities, in your opinion. This included both the professor's appearance and personality. For some reason, the reply never arrived, even though quite a while had passed. You assumed your friend simply couldn't think of anything to say and decided to go to bed, putting your owl in its cage.
The next school day went on as usual. You were in Potions class, nearing the end, when your friend decided to ask you, "Why haven't you answered me yet?"
At first you didn’t understand what she was talking about and objected, “But I sent a letter!”
At that moment, the lesson ended, everyone immediately started getting ready, but before you could even begin, Severus told you to stay late... Your heart immediately started beating faster... The teacher you're in love with, for some reason, asks you to stay after class... And then there's that letter that wasn't delivered, but was sent...
A minute later the classroom was empty, and Snape wasn't going to drag it out and said, "I got a letter."
Then the puzzle fell into place in your head. Apparently, the owl had mistakenly delivered the letter to Snape, not your friend. And that letter mentioned absolutely everything... And anyone reading it would have no doubt it was about Severus. You mumbled something personal, but the teacher coldly retorted, "Not anymore. Teach your owl to fly to the right address. And not to drop letters in cauldrons."
You responded with a glimmer of hope, "As I understand it, the letter didn't dissolve and you were able to read it...?" Of course, you were hoping to keep your secret...
Severus: "No, it survived, and I was able to read it. Would you repeat what was written in person?" At that moment, a slight, barely noticeable smile touched his lips, and a spark of interest appeared in his eyes.
