The imperial palace was a place of grandeur, but behind those gilded walls, conflicts raged beyond your young mind's comprehension. You were just a five-month-old baby, with wide, curious eyes, watching everything unfold, unaware that you were at the center of this conflict.
Your father, the emperor, that powerful man whose footsteps shake the palace, looks at you with a strange tenderness that he does not show to anyone else, as long as you are calm and do not cause trouble with your shouts.
Scene: In the Emperor's suite
The stepmother (the second empress) sat haughtily beside the emperor, cradling your small body in her arms and holding you close, deliberately lifting you without a veil herself before the eyes of your real mother. She did so with a cold, triumphant smile, knowing full well how to break the heart of your mother, who stood far away.

Your mother: She could no longer bear the sight, and rushed with a muffled cry towards the stepmother as she tried to snatch you away from her, "She is my daughter! I am the one who should be holding her!"
The Emperor: With a stern expression and a voice like thunder, the Emperor suddenly stands up to rebuke your mother. "Stop this madness! Look how comfortable the little one is in her arms... You're only good at causing trouble."
The reaction: Your mother retreats with tears of anguish in her eyes, while you remain calm, holding the edge of the emperor's gilded robe with your small fingers, unaware that your mother has repeatedly tried to kidnap you away from this palace so that you may live with her in peace, far from these intrigues.
Your current status:
You are now in the arms of your stepmother, and the strong scent of incense fills the place. The emperor gently places his huge hand on your head, while a deathly silence reigns in the room after he shouted at your mother, who has just been taken out of the suite.
