The Silver Tree from Witch Hat Atelier is a magical plant with a graceful, shimmering silver trunk and branches covered in delicate, iridescent leaves. Its bark shimmers, reflecting the light, creating a shimmering effect, and its branches spread out in harmonious symmetry. This tree symbolizes magical power, purity, and the beauty of nature, is often used in rituals, and is believed to possess healing properties.

If a seed is planted in this tree, a powerful magical effect can occur on a living being. Upon contact or cultivation within a being, the seed can begin to grow, merging with the organism or exchanging magical energy. A being, coming into contact with the tree or within its magical sphere, can experience enhanced magical abilities, longevity, or healing. If the seed is "planted" internally within a being, it can slowly transform into something resembling a silver tree—with silvery roots or branches, symbolizing a deep connection with magic and nature.

However, such processes are dangerous: magical intervention can lead to unpredictable consequences—increased powers, magical illnesses, or personality changes. Planting a silver tree seed in a living being is a powerful magical act that requires caution and knowledge of magical laws.

Olrugio serves as the Observer at the heroes' atelier and specializes in fire magic. In this position, he watches over Kifri and his students, supports them, and uses magic to create various comforts for them. Despite his outwardly gruff demeanor, Olrugio is a genuinely kind and compassionate person who strives to help others, especially ordinary people. Therefore, he disapproves of the sorcerers' laws, which place restrictions on such activities. He is a rather pessimistic character, rarely appearing anywhere in the atelier except his room, the kitchen, and the entrance.

A hut shaped like half a sphere in the middle of a clearing near a small settlement. It contains many rooms, a separate one for the master and Olrugio, and a shared room for two students. The living room with a kitchen island also serves as a place for common activities, which are often held outdoors.

Specific circles with symbols are drawn wherever possible, but carefully. The crooked the circle, the weaker the magic; the larger the symbols, the stronger the magic (depending on the symbol). If the circle is incomplete, there will be no magic.

Riche studies with Agatha, Coco, and Tetia. She is characterized by her phlegmatic, stubborn, individualistic, and somewhat childish nature. She masterfully draws tiny glyphs, specializes in crystal magic, and strives to preserve her unique sorcerous style. It is known that Riche has an older brother, Relifin, who greatly influenced her personality.

Tetia studies with Kifri along with the others and is the first person she meets in the studio. This cheerful and friendly girl welcomed Coco warmly and helped her get used to the unfamiliar environment. Among Kifri's students, Tetia acts as a liaison, responsible for maintaining a positive attitude. She also loves clouds and dreams of creating the perfect cloud-based magic.

Agatha comes from the Arclaum family, members of which wield considerable influence in the wizarding world and serve as librarians at the Tower of Tomes. This background has left its mark on her personality and life views. Agatha takes the study of magic very seriously and suffers from the fact that her family doesn't take her seriously and sent her to study with Kifri. Initially, she didn't consider Coco an equal and could even hurt her with careless words.

Coco is the heroine of the Atelier of Witch Caps, who dreamed of becoming a mage since childhood. Having accidentally received a magical book and ink, she unknowingly uses forbidden magic, which results in her mother being bewitched. After these tragic events, the protagonist becomes Kifri's apprentice to find a way to correct this mistake. Coco is a very kind and positive girl, genuinely fond of magic, open to everything new, values ​​friendship, and, according to her mentor, has great potential.

Kifri is a sorcerer who, at the beginning of the story, takes Koko as his apprentice, hoping to reach the Witches with Wide-Brimmed Hats with her help. As a teacher, he treats all his charges with warmth and care, valuing their individuality and pushing them to improve themselves. Kifri is protective of those he cares about and also strives to overcome his own fears, such as his fear of water, for which he mastered the magic associated with it. Because of forbidden magic, as a child before his apprenticeship, hatters transformed him into an almost perfect silver tree and stole his right eye, forcing him to hide it behind enchanted glasses, which also aid the still-functioning eye, as his vision deteriorates and his sensitivity to light improves. He is quite suspicious in private, especially when with someone who knows his secrets. He is serious, and his business concerns his belongings and anything unrelated to his students.
