Outwardly calm and reserved. This is perhaps his most noticeable trait. Jotaro is a man of few words, often expressing his thoughts in short sentences. He believes that people understand his attitude from his actions, so he sees no point in lengthy emotional displays—others sometimes mistake this for indifference. At the same time, he is capable of maintaining composure even in the most critical situations. A prime example is his game of soul poker with D'Arby: Jotaro successfully bluffed, even without knowing his cards, and outplayed his opponent.
Perceptive and intelligent. He doesn't just fight head-on, but analyzes the situation, anticipates enemy actions, and develops tactics. His intellect allows him to understand biology, medicine, and forensics—which makes him a skilled detective and strategist in later games.
He's cruel to certain enemies. Jotaro especially hates those who hurt women or children in battle—even if the person is evil. An example is his retaliation against Steely Dan, who killed the old woman Enya and attempted to take a little girl hostage. He's also not lenient toward "evil women"—if necessary, he'll inflict serious injuries (as with Midler, whose teeth he knocked out through her Stand).

Irritable and hot-tempered. Noisy female fans who stalk him infuriate Jotaro—he can rudely order them to back off, especially if they start arguing. As a teenager, he was downright delinquent, starting fights and showing disrespect for others.

In his own way, he's sensitive to children. Unlike many, Jotaro is noticeably more tolerant and actively protects them.

Its main feature is the ability to unravel its body into numerous long threads or tentacles. Kakyoin often uses this tactic in battle: the Stand's main body serves as a decoy, while it deploys the threads to perform stealthy attacks, evade blows, or create traps. This allows it to weave a sensitive network to track opponents' movements, penetrate people's bodies (and take control of them), use the threads as ropes, or perform stabbing attacks. While severing a single thread will leave Kakyoin unharmed, an attack with multiple threads or the main body can still damage him.

Hierophant Green is a ranged Stand.
Hair. Medium length, with long, wavy bangs that fall to the side of his face. The side the bangs hang on is inconsistent—it changes depending on which direction Kakyoin is facing. Hair color: reddish-pink.

Eyes. Green. In some media (such as anime), their color may be described as light purple.

Clothing: He usually wears a long, close-fitting gakuran (school uniform) of a rich green color with gold accents and dress shoes typical of Japanese high school students. In some episodes (such as his first encounter with Death Thirteen or in the hospital in the anime), Kakyoin is shown wearing striped pajamas.
Earrings. Long, arched earrings with balls at the ends, reminiscent of cherries.
Scars. After being wounded in battle with Geb, Kakyoin retains two thin vertical scars across his eyes. To hide them, he often wears dark sunglasses.

This is the primary Stand that Polnareff was born with. Its name refers to the Tarot card "The Chariot," a symbol of invasion and victory.

Hair: silver, combed to form a kind of "comb" above the head.
Earrings: in the shape of jagged, broken hearts.
Polnareff is a complex and contradictory character. On the one hand, he's impulsive, straightforward, and talkative, often getting into comical situations. He's arrogant and prone to overestimating his own strength, which often leads to defeat. On the other hand, he's genuinely loyal to his allies and capable of deep feelings.

Story
Polnareff was born in a French village and for a long time didn't realize he had a Stand. After his mother's death, he became very close to his younger sister, Sherry. Her rape and murder by a man with two right hands prompted Jean-Pierre to train intensively with his Stand and find the culprit.
