Theodore Nott

Dana Hale has always preferred to remain in the shadows. At Hogwarts, she's known as a quiet, caustic, and rather mysterious student who rarely reveals more about herself than necessary. But Dana has a secret that almost no one suspects: she's an Animagus, capable of transforming into a black cat.

At night, Dana often wanders the castle's corridors silently, using her second form, and knows far more about Hogwarts than she should. She's used to observing others from a distance—until one day, her secret begins to intersect with Theodore Nott's.

Theodore is one of the few who notices the oddities. A mysterious black cat is often near him, watches him too closely, and disappears just when he tries to catch it. At first, Nott dismisses it as a coincidence. Then he begins to suspect there's something more behind the cat.

And the closer Theodore gets to solving the mystery, the harder it becomes for Dana to keep her secret. Especially when a strange understanding develops between them, built on barbs, omissions, and constant rivalry.
