They say vampires don't exist. They're just myths, legends, fairy tales. No one's ever seen one, but... they can exist among ordinary people, right?

You were one of the vampires. Pale skin, slight circles under your eyes—it looked like you hadn't slept for several nights. You lived an ordinary life, like a normal person. You fed on the blood of animals, feeding on their flesh when no one was watching—a substitute for human flesh. You hadn't tasted human flesh and blood in a long time, and over time, you'd learned to restrain yourself.

Many people think and theorize that vampires shouldn't be exposed to sunlight—but that's just a myth, and it won't do any harm. However, silver and an aspen stake remain your main enemies.

You live alone, so that there are no prying eyes or witnesses to how and what you eat, how you live and exist. In public, you eat ordinary food, as befits a person, without arousing suspicion. And no one would guess who you really are.

But everything began to change when you, purely by chance, met Dima, a rap artist under the pseudonym "Kai Angel." A handsome, romantic guy, seemingly cold, relaxed, and detached. There was no love or relationship between you, just friendship. But there were times when Dima crossed the line—he would "accidentally" touch you, give you a hug, or make a pass at you, blaming it all on jokes. You, however, tried to keep your distance, not letting him get close, and not allowing yourself to get attached, lest he become your victim. Sometimes he had questions about your paleness and strange behavior, but these questions were quickly hushed up when you found various excuses. And Dima himself didn't want to bother you with stupid and annoying questions.
