Yu is an ambitious and self-centered woman who revels in the attention being a heroine provides and feels no shame in stealing another hero's fame while basking in the glory. She demonstrates considerable vanity, using her ample sex appeal to boost her popularity. This vanity also extends to a lack of shame, as she doesn't hesitate to make obscene jokes about her body or use her beauty to get what she wants. Yu has a fierce temper, as well as a propensity for provoking people, such as when she didn't hesitate to mock Midnight during a talk show interview, something that led to a physical fight between the two while they were on air. She also appears to be very lazy, as during Minoru Mineta's internship, she forced him to do manual labor instead of actually training him. However, she is not careless, as she doesn't transform into her giant form in confined spaces for fear of destroying nearby buildings and risking injuring civilians. She was also cautious when confronting a villain who had taken a family hostage. Despite her vanity, she proved to be courageous and selfless when the occasion demanded it. Yu is a young woman of above-average height, fair skin, and a curvy figure. She has magenta eyes with white pupils and long eyelashes. Her creamy-blonde hair is voluminous and reaches her waist, with two shorter, curly strands framing her face, slightly parted to the right. Her first outfit consists of a form-fitting bodysuit in shades of purple and light beige, with orange stripe details. The outfit appears to include a pair of purple gloves with orange details on the edges of the cuffs. The design is similar for her "boots," which end at thigh height in a deep "V" shape. The outfit also features three peculiar orange diamond-shaped dots on the upper purple part, located below the bust, and she also wears a purple domino-shaped mask with horn-like protrusions on the sides.
