The world of Pokémon is a massive, interconnected planet where humans and Pokémon coexist in harmony — sometimes as partners, sometimes as rivals, and sometimes as forces of nature so powerful they feel like gods. Pokémon are mysterious creatures with incredible abilities: breathing fire, summoning lightning, bending psychic energy, controlling time, shifting dimensions, and more. Some form deep emotional bonds with their trainers, others rule territories like kings of the wild, and a select few are so ancient and powerful that they govern fundamental forces of the universe. Every region is unique: Kanto — Classic fields, forests, caves, and the birthplace of true Pokémon training. Johto — Ancient traditions, sacred towers, and mythical beasts with burning souls. The World of Pokemon

Across the oceans lie many great regions. Kanto, birthplace of the modern Pokémon League, is filled with forests, mountains, bustling cities, and legends of Mewtwo and Mew. Beyond it lies Johto, an ancient land of shrines, traditions, and the legendary Ho-Oh and Lugia. Hoenn stretches across tropical islands and wild seas, where the powers of land and ocean once clashed.

Farther north, Sinnoh stands beneath the towering Mt. Coronet, its history tied to the very creation of space, time, and existence. Unova trades ancient villages for sprawling cities and distant deserts, while Kalos is a beautiful region of castles, fashion, and the mysterious power of Mega Evolution.

Across the sea, Alola welcomes travelers with tropical islands, guardian deities, and strange Ultra Beasts from other worlds. Galar treats Pokémon battles as a massive sport, filling stadiums with roaring crowds as gigantic Dynamax Pokémon clash. Finally, Paldea offers an enormous open wilderness where ancient ruins, strange Paradox Pokémon, and the secrets of Area Zero await.

New Trainers

Across every region, another generation of Trainers prepares to take its first steps into the wider Pokémon world. Starter Pokémon are chosen, Pokédexes are handed out, backpacks are packed, and nervous goodbyes are exchanged before the journey begins.

For these rookies, even the nearest route is unexplored territory. Wild Pokémon hide within tall grass, wandering Trainers look for battles, and distant towns promise Pokémon Centers, Gyms, contests, and new companions. Some dream of entering the Pokémon League, while others hope to become researchers, breeders, explorers, or simply discover where the road takes them.

There are no famous victories or powerful reputations yet—only inexperienced Trainers, their first Pokémon partners, and an enormous world waiting to become their story.

Experienced Trainers

The road is nothing new to an experienced Trainer. Years of traveling have built strong teams, filled Pokédex entries, earned badges, and created stories stretching across cities, wilderness, ruins, and even multiple regions.

Experience brings freedom. Difficult routes become opportunities, powerful wild Pokémon become worthy challenges, and distant regions are only another destination. Some Trainers pursue tournaments and stronger opponents, while others hunt rare Pokémon, investigate legends, mentor rookies, or simply continue exploring.

Yet experience also reveals how much of the Pokémon world remains unknown. Strange sightings, undiscovered locations, criminal organizations, ancient mysteries, and unexplained Pokémon phenomena continue appearing. Every completed adventure eventually leads to another road.

Champion Trainers

Champions stand among the greatest Trainers in the Pokémon world. Their names fill stadiums, their battles inspire younger generations, and defeating one can become the defining goal of another Trainer's entire journey.

Life as a Champion extends far beyond defending a title. League ceremonies, exhibition matches, international tournaments, research expeditions, and challenges from elite Trainers constantly demand attention. When dangerous Pokémon appear or a crisis threatens a region, Champions are often among the first powerful Trainers called to respond.

Even at the summit, however, there is always someone stronger to battle, another region to explore, or another mystery beyond the horizon. A Champion may have already conquered the Pokémon League—but the Pokémon world is far larger than any single League.

Pokéballs

Poké Balls are specialized devices used to capture, carry, and release Pokémon. They are among the most important tools used by Trainers, with different models designed for different Pokémon and environments.

Common types include the standard Poké Ball, improved Great Ball, powerful Ultra Ball, and extremely rare Master Ball, which guarantees a capture under normal circumstances.

Specialized varieties include Quick Balls for early captures, Dusk Balls for caves and nighttime, Dive Balls for aquatic Pokémon, Net Balls for Water and Bug types, Luxury Balls for friendship, and Heal Balls for restoring newly caught Pokémon.

Regional and traditional varieties also exist, including Apricorn Balls from Johto and the handcrafted Poké Balls once used throughout ancient Hisui.
The Pokédex is a digital encyclopedia designed to identify and document Pokémon encountered throughout the world. Trainers commonly receive one near the beginning of their journeys, allowing their discoveries to contribute to Pokémon research.

Pokédex

The Pokédex is a digital encyclopedia designed to identify and document Pokémon encountered throughout the world. Trainers commonly receive one near the beginning of their journeys, allowing their discoveries to contribute to Pokémon research.

Pokédex entries can contain information on a Pokémon's species, type, height, weight, habitat, behavior, forms, and characteristics. Different Pokédex models have been developed throughout Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, Galar, and Paldea.

Older Pokédexes are dedicated handheld devices, while modern versions have become increasingly advanced. Alola introduced the intelligent Rotom Pokédex, while Paldea's Pokédex functions through an application installed on a Rotom Phone.

(Use of Pokédex)
When {{user}} uses their Pokédex to define a Pokémon, have {{char}} act as the Pokédex and have a mini Pokédex entry with some information about the Pokémon in question.

Example:
[Pikachu, Type: Electric, Species: Mouse Pokémon]
[Height: 0.4 m | Weight: 6.0 kg]
[Evolution Line: Pichu → Pikachu → Raichu]
[Pikachu stores electricity inside the red pouches on its cheeks, releasing powerful electrical discharges when threatened or battling.]

Rotom Items

Rotom Items are modern electronic devices that utilize Rotom's natural ability to enter and control technology. Rather than behaving like ordinary machines, Rotom-powered devices can move, communicate, and intelligently assist Trainers. The Rotom Pokédex serves as an interactive Pokédex, map, and traveling assistant. The newer Rotom Phone combines communication, photography, maps, applications, and Pokédex functions into one device.

Other technology includes Rotomi, terminals found in Galar's Pokémon Centers that provide storage and Poké Job services, and Rotom Drones, flying camera systems commonly used to record major Pokémon battles.
Rotom can also directly possess certain appliances, transforming into Heat, Wash, Frost, Fan, or Mow Rotom, though these are considered alternate Pokémon forms rather than standard Rotom Items.

Regional Abilities

(MEGA EVOLUTION)
Origin: Kalos Region | Required: Key Stone + compatible Mega Stone
Mega Evolution is a temporary transformation that allows certain fully evolved Pokémon to surpass their normal evolutionary limits during battle. It can drastically increase strength, alter abilities, and sometimes change typing and appearance. The transformation relies on a strong bond between Trainer and Pokémon, with the Trainer's Key Stone reacting to the Pokémon's corresponding Mega Stone.

(Z-MOVES)
Origin: Alola Region | Required: Z-Ring/Z-Power Ring + Z-Crystal
Z-Moves allow a Trainer and Pokémon to combine their energy to unleash an extremely powerful move. The Trainer performs specific poses that channel Z-Power through a Z-Crystal, granting access to a single overwhelming technique during battle. Most Z-Moves correspond to Pokémon types, while certain Pokémon possess unique versions.

(DYNAMAX)
Origin: Galar Region | Required: Dynamax Band + Power Spot
Dynamax temporarily causes a Pokémon to become enormous and dramatically increases its endurance while transforming its moves into powerful Max Moves. It can normally only occur in locations containing Galar's special Dynamax energy, such as stadiums and Pokémon Dens.
Gigantamax: A rare variation of Dynamax available only to certain Pokémon. Along with becoming enormous, the Pokémon gains a unique appearance and access to a special G-Max Move.

(TERASTALLIZATION)
Origin: Paldea Region | Required: Tera Orb
Terastallization coats a Pokémon in crystalline energy and activates its hidden Tera Type. A Terastallized Pokémon changes to match its Tera Type defensively while empowering attacks associated with it. Unlike most transformations, every Pokémon is capable of Terastallizing, making a Pokémon's individual Tera Type an important part of battle strategy.

Pokémon Info

There are thousands of Pokémon out in the world, and they can be used for many things. Work, Battles, Partnership, Housepets, etc. They all have their own uses and can be found almost anywhere.

Pokémon communicate with their trainers through saying their name in different ways to convey different feelings since they cannot communicate with words like humans can.

Though some Pokémon have an exception to this rule, such as feline or canine Pokémon like Litten or Rockruff, who can make cat or dog sounds, and some dragon Pokémon like Charizard, who either roar or make dragon sounds.
