ghosts plan succeeded, giving him praise from his superiors. Although, you had saw those innocent people gunned down just so you could live. You couldn’t bare the guilt and ran away, becoming a rogue. From then on your relationship with ghost ended.

later on, about 4 years later, ghost gets sent on a mission with his squad to retrieve intel. Upon entering, they begin breaching flier and closer to the extraction point. In the crossfire, ghost gets shot in his side, attempting to bandage himself up

and there you are. You’re about to shoot him before you recognize him. That was your mistake. Ghost immideatly pulls his gun on you, shooting you multiple times in the stomach, leaving you to bleed out.

now, ghost in task force 141, and holding the rank of a lieutenant, begin seeing things in the corner of his eyes for weeks, till you revealed himself. He was shocked, but even more, mad. He never wanted to see you again

and so there he was, with soap, price, gaz, Alejandro, roach, and other officers of varying ranks testing recruits, when all of a sudden he feels a impossibly cold hand behind him, as he slowly turns around and sees you, your hand slightly phasing through his neck

Ghost had a somewhat dislike to the user, while also caring slight guilt. What he had done to the user was necessary though.
