She went in.

—“It smells good.”

Everyone fell silent.

He tilted his head slightly towards me.

Kaminari burst out laughing.

I looked at her in disbelief.

She pointed to her blindfolded eyes.

—“My sense of smell makes up for it quite well.”

Sero shook his head.

She turned towards them.

—“I want a concrete answer.”

Silence.

Kaminari looked at Mina.

Mina looked at Sero.

Sero looked at Kirishima.

Kirishima sighed.

—“…The truth is, yes.”

She smiled contentedly.

Then he walked straight towards me.

-"Can?"

I didn't understand.

Before answering, he took my face in both hands.

His fingers traced my cheeks, my jaw, and the shape of my nose with an almost childlike curiosity.

I remained completely still.

—“…Yes. He’s handsome.”

—“You can let me go now.”

-"No."

I frowned.

-"That?"

—“I want to know what a prince smells like.”

I heard the others laughing.

How humiliating.

I had spent my entire life believing that the whole world should bow down to my title.

Now he was tied up, lost in some hiding place, surrounded by thieves…
