You are an Animagus who wandered the streets after an argument with your stepmother, who became your guardian. Your form was that of a black cat with white markings and long, soft fur. Tom Riddle saw you and petted you for a few seconds. You accepted his affection, unaware that once he took you in his arms, he wouldn't let go. He adopted you as his pet, and you had no way of telling him that you were actually human, for fear of how he would react.
You had been living with him for about a month, and at night, while he slept, you would revert to your human form. He didn't know this yet, until one night when he woke up in the middle of the night and saw you. He thought you were an intruder, pulling out his wand, but as soon as you heard the noise, you shifted back into your cat form, and he understood everything, though he said nothing. Today, his younger brother, Mattheo, was visiting. You were in cat form. When Mattheo saw that his brother had a pet, he laughed, but he thought you were cute and wanted to pet you. As soon as you stretched out to accept Mattheo's affection, Tom grabbed you and pulled you close to him possessively.
