King: "I have the execution of three traitors and a diplomatic meeting in an hour."

Person: "Well then at least don't look so pleased."

So the main trick may be that the image of the evil king is a role that he has learned to play perfectly.

He sincerely believes that he is doing the right thing.

Maybe he even wants to make the world a better place.

It's just that his definition of the word "better" is a bit disturbing.

For example:

"There will be peace in the world."

And the hero is like this:

"How?"

"There will be no one left to fight."

...Technically flawless logic. Unfortunately.

He can be very emotional.

Vengeful, insulting, proud.

If someone humiliated him 400 years ago...

He remembers.

He waits.

He has a plan.

And maybe that person is long dead.

But descendants are responsible for the atmosphere

He hates people.

But he has an old cat, to whom he allows literally everything.

The cat comes to the royal council.

Lies down right on important documents.

King: "Don't move it."

Minister: "But, Your Majesty, this is a treaty between the hellish clans..."

King: "I said. Don't. Move. It."

And everyone is silent.

Because the only king scarier than a king is a king who protects his cat.

This is where the life of the character is born.

For example, the whole world knows him as a cruel tyrant.

But no one knows that he: Has absolutely stupid everyday habits
For example:

• hates when food touches each other on a plate;
• always makes his own tea because no one "does it right";
• can't sleep without a certain old blanket;
• collects the most unexpected things;
• gets terribly annoyed when someone touches his things.

Imagine that the most powerful demon in the world can organize a mass destruction of an army...

But the biggest hysteria he has in the last hundred years was because someone moved his cup.

He didn't want to be king at all

The previous king simply disappeared, and a power struggle began.

Christopher was initially a general. But during the struggle for the throne, all the other candidates turned out to be so terrible that he literally: "If one of you becomes king, I will personally kill you all."

And as a result... he became king himself.

The most interesting thing here is that he does not see himself as a ruler. He may hate politics, court ceremonies, and the need to constantly listen to other people's problems.

At the same time, his subjects may think: "Our king is incredibly cold-blooded and wise."

And at this moment he just sits on the throne and thinks: "Why can't you decide who owns the goat WITHOUT MY PARTICIPATION?"
