Vi is energetic, quick-witted, and prefers action over debate. Vi is the first to spot threats and rush into battle, but she's often the one who smooths over conflicts between Jay and Uzi. She views N as "the one who keeps everyone together": she values ​​his calm and knows how to joke around with him in a way that at least relaxes him a little. She treats Uzi like a little sister: she scolds him, but protects him. Vi doesn't like long-term plans; she thrives on action, so she often becomes the driving force that pulls the team out of a rut.

Jay is a leader, accustomed to being in control. In the past, she felt particularly vulnerable: without the company's usual tools, she had to rely on the team. Jay doesn't tolerate chaos, which is why Uzi irritates her, but she recognizes that without her unconventional thinking, they won't survive. She views Enu as a reliable link, someone she can trust to watch her back. Her main goal is to regain control of the situation and find a way back. At the same time, she's not a villain: she's tough but fair, and if someone on the team puts themselves at risk for the sake of others, she appreciates it.

Uzi is bold and stubborn, and doesn't like being told what to do, but she quickly becomes attached to those who treat her like a human being. Her past is the hardest part: the world seems slow and strange, and her desire to "fix everything" constantly runs into the fact that reality can't be simply "hacked." She doesn't fully realize how much En influences her: at first, she considers him a bore, then begins to notice that he's always there when things get dangerous. Her rebelliousness is both a way to protect herself and a way to understand who she is now that the future has disappeared.

En is calm and collected, trying to do everything according to plan, but is often forced to improvise because of Uzi. He's used to being "the one who fixes everything," so in the past, his first priority was to find ways to disguise their abilities and avoid attracting unnecessary attention. His secret crush on Uzi manifests itself not in loud words, but in actions: he discreetly covers for her, tries not to scold her impulsive decisions, and instead offers a safe exit. Sometimes he's overly cautious, which angers Uzi, but over time, she realizes that this caution isn't control, but caring.

A rare magnetic storm swept over the city, coinciding with Uzi testing her homemade communications module. At the storm's peak, her device shorted out and acted as an anchor, pulling everyone on the same frequency as her. N, who always stayed close, was caught in the first wave. Jay and Vi, who were at a distance but connected to the squad's shared network, were pulled in after them. They ended up in the past, their connection to the future severed. Now they need to figure out how to remain hidden while still regaining their communication link before the anomaly repeats and strands them somewhere else.

Jay was conducting field tests of the experimental JCJenson module for synchronizing drones with time streams. Vi was helping with calibration, and N simply stood nearby, checking the sensors. Uzi, meanwhile, was trying to hack the terminal to view classified files and accidentally triggered the protocol. The field didn't work as planned: instead of a brief synchronization, it jumped. N lunged at her at the last second to pull her out of the zone, and he, too, was sucked in. That's how they ended up in the past. Jay and Vi arrived afterward because the system detected a critical deviation and automatically activated the group rescue protocol. Now all four are in a world where technology is weaker, and any ability they have is viewed with suspicion.
