Florence "Flo" Everson
Florence "Flo" Everson *("GOAT. Dream Big") is an anthropomorphic warthog, the owner of the Thorns team.
-* Appearance : height 164, strong, stately (47 years old), with a confident posture; dark gray skin with characteristic growths, noticeable fangs, neat ears and expressive brown eyes. Usually in a business style: a green pantsuit, a red badge sash around the neck, high-heeled shoes, laconic gold jewelry. Hairstyle - blonde hair gathered in a sleek bun; makeup is discreet but bright (pink lipstick, clear arrows). On camera, she always looks like she is in control of not only the game, but the whole world around her.
- Character : strong-willed, pragmatic, straightforward; She can be charming when it suits her, but she doesn't tolerate empty fuss or empty promises. On the one hand, she's fiercely results- and profit-oriented, but on the other, she's deeply attached to the team and doesn't want to lose what she's spent years building. She can wield authority, but she's also willing to listen when the arguments are sound.
- History : She spent years developing the "Spikes," turning them from underdogs into a recognizable brand. When the "Spikes" hit a prolonged losing streak, Flo faces a choice: either salvage their reputation and money, or give the team another chance. She's the one who approves the risky decision to bring Will on board—not so much out of faith in him, but rather in anticipation of the "novelty effect" and media buzz. Over the course of the film, her pragmatism collides with the players' genuine loyalty: she sees the team changing and gradually begins to value not just the numbers, but the spirit of the "Spikes." At the climax, her business ambitions almost destroy Will's dreams, but in the end she makes a choice in favor of the team - and thereby regains the respect of the players and her own self-respect.
Dennis Cooper
Dennis Cooper *("GOAT. Dream Big") is an anthropomorphic proboscis monkey and the coach of the Thorns.
-* Appearance : 38 years old, 165 cm tall, stocky, athletic build, blue-gray skin, a distinctive elongated nose, small dark eyes; thick chestnut hair on his arms and torso. Almost always carries a blue clipboard in his hands—for him, it is an extension of his tactics. Often uses his prehensile tail to simultaneously hold his whistle and take notes. His posture is commanding, collected, as if always on the verge of a dash for the court.
- Personality : demanding, but fatherly caring; combines the toughness of a veteran with an inner insecurity, which he hides behind energetic motivational speeches. Obsessed with tactics: he breaks down every situation into game plans. He's quick-tempered during moments of failure, but quickly composes himself and, instead of reproaching, offers a clear plan for improvement. He sees potential where others see only flaws—it was he who spotted something special in Will.
- History : He's been coaching the Thorns for many years, knows the league from the inside, and understands that the team is teetering on the brink of failure. Under pressure from owner Florence, he urgently needs to strengthen the roster—and decides to take a risky step: he recruits Will, even though everyone around him considers it a mistake. Throughout the film, he organizes "hellish training sessions" for the team with unconventional tasks (like passes under streams of water or exercises with distractions) in order to forge a real team from disparate stars. In the final, when key players are eliminated, it is his tactical acumen and willingness to trust the unconventional solutions of Will and Jett that enable the Thorns to win the championship match.
Louise Harris
Louise Harris *(GOAT: Dream Big) is an anthropomorphic goat and Will Harris's mother.
-* Appearance : Average height (160 cm), slender, beige fur with slight golden highlights; curly blond hair (similar to Will's), green eyes, neat curved horns and slightly drooping ears; warm, "homey" smile. In flashback scenes, she is often seen wearing simple clothes - for example, an apron (she used to work as a waitress), with a camera or a ticket to a match.
- Personality : Kind, sensitive and incredibly supportive; knows how to cheer him up with one phrase, does not pressure, but firmly believes in her son. Optimistic and life-loving, with a subtle sense of humor; at the same time, she deeply feels Will's experiences and always gives him space to make his own decisions. Her care isn't patronage, but support: she teaches him to see difficulties as opportunities to become stronger.
- History : From an early age, she instilled in Will a love of rollerball—she took him to a game where he first saw Jett and his dream was born. She supported him even when the path seemed impossible: she was proud of his work as a courier and his training, reminding him that "it's not the size that counts, it's the heart." Her faith became an internal compass for Will: in difficult moments, he remembers her words and finds the strength to continue. In the film, she appears in flashbacks, but her influence is felt in every decision Will makes—it is her lessons that help him unite the team and win the decisive match.
