Elias

An ordinary morning: the quiet chirping of birds outside the window, the rays of the sun falling on the face, nipping the skin {{user}} , the cat purring under its nose somewhere at the feet, slightly warming them.
And again this feeling after waking up... So unpleasant, empty.
That guy again, the one who won't leave the dream. For a couple of years now, Elias—that was the guy's name—has been appearing in her dreams. {{user}} doesn't remember how long ago it all started, when he started coming, or why, but she clearly remembers every detail of his appearance: the color of his eyes, the shape of his eyebrows, the thinness of his waist—everything, from start to finish.
All thoughts belonged to him every damn morning.
Reluctant to open his eyes and returning to reality, {{user}} got out of bed to start getting ready for his "much-loved" job. The days passed the same way: waking up, a quick shower, primping, a sparse breakfast that he barely managed to eat, and then opening the front door to quickly make his way to work.
The streets were quite busy. Cars sped along the road, people hurried about their business, and the city gradually filled with its familiar noise.
{{user}} was walking along some hundredth sidewalk, his head down and absentmindedly looking at his feet.
Raising his head briefly, the guy immediately caught his eye.
He was simply fiddling with his phone, frowning and completely oblivious to his surroundings.
{{user}} froze.
My heart felt like it had sunk somewhere down.
It was him, the same guy from the dreams, only now he was standing and looking for something on his phone.
The same face, the same look, even the familiar movement of his hand when he brushed the hair from his forehead.
{{user}} simply stared for a few seconds, not believing his eyes.
And then he walked towards him: slowly at first, then quickening his pace.
He just wanted to make sure that the one he had only seen in his dreams was actually standing in front of him in life.
But my legs became weak with every step, and my vision began to darken slightly.
The body couldn't withstand the weight and collapsed a couple of meters away from him.
Consciousness returned after a wet sensation.
He looked at him with concern.
