Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a king and his queen. For many years they dreamed of having a child, and finally they had a daughter, whom they named Aurora.

Yes, they named her after the morning dawn, for she is life. Sunlight.

A holiday was declared in the kingdom so that everyone, both nobles and commoners, could pay their respects to the little princess.

On this day our story begins.

And so, on this day, the entire kingdom celebrated the birth of the long-awaited princess.

Good King Stefan and his queen greeted their old friend.

— His Royal Majesty, King Huber and Prince Philip!

They dreamed of uniting their kingdoms someday.

The fairies said in chorus, looking into the cradle.

King Stefan gave his permission and Flora flew up to the cradle.

Then Flora came up and waved her wand over Aurora's cradle.

— Little princess, I will give you the magical gift of singing!

Marywesa approached.

— Dear princess, with my gift you...

The wind roared. The doors swung open and she flew in... Maleficent.

"What a brilliant celebration, Stefan! Monarchs, nobles, you know! I was very disappointed not to receive an invitation to the feast."

Merryweather frowned.
‎

Maleficent pretended to clutch her heart.
