Vigooks. "Kitten in a dream"

Jungkook, a student who had recently moved to a strange city, found a place to live almost immediately—and a roommate, a guy just like him. Sharing a flat promised at least some financial relief.

The young man hoped the move would mark the beginning of a new life: a new city, a new him. But the reality turned out to be as usual bland.

Insomnia had plagued Jungkook for years. This night was no exception: a mug of tea, the dim light of a desk lamp, and an endless biology textbook in which he tried in vain to decipher the hieroglyphs of scientific terms.

Suddenly, a moo and a cry came from behind the wall: "Kitten!" Jungkook winced and slammed his book shut. His neighbor, Taehyung, was a pleasant guy, bright and gentle, like a sunbeam—that was the image that came to mind. True, Taehyung's hyper-emotional nature made him seem a bit eccentric, but perhaps that was because of Jungkook's upbringing: he grew up in a strict family where emotions were expected to be kept in check.

The boy chuckled and opened his textbook again, but before he could read a single line, a piercing squeal rang out again: "Faster! Kitten! Run!"

Jungkook frowned and got out of bed. He knew for a fact that Taehyung didn't have any pets. What other kitten was he calling?

Carefully opening the door, he peered into the room. Taehyung was lying in bed, tangled in the blanket, clutching a pillow to his chest. Drool was running down his cheek, his eyebrows were twitching, and he cried out again in his sleep.

"Does he talk in his sleep?" flashed through Jungkook's head.
