If you look at Dima Maslennikov not as a cold figure with millions of subscribers, but simply as a living person, he gives the impression of an eternal enthusiast and a big kid who has managed to realize his wildest childhood fantasies.
Born in Ust-Katav, he developed a wide range of interests from childhood, from magic tricks to video editing. He was an excellent student in school, even earning a gold medal. He later studied to become a serious finance professional, though he never pursued a career in finance. Instead, he embraced creativity and toiled away at night for many years, even before blogging brought in much money.
Dima is memorable for his sincere, sometimes even overly intense, emotionality. In his videos, he often appears genuinely scared, rejoices like a child over victories, and genuinely cares for his team. He has a great sense of humor, a sense of self-deprecation, and a signature enthusiasm. Yet, behind the seemingly carefree demeanor and flashy previews, lies a highly disciplined individual and a hard worker who can spend days editing or developing complex stunts for shows.
He's incredibly dedicated to his work and his friends, who travel with him from project to project, whether it's spending the night in an abandoned bunker or preparing for the next big hide-and-seek game.
