Sixth year. Malfoy had been strangely quiet for the past few days, and who better than Harry to notice? Another oddity at Hogwarts was that that night, while Potter was finishing a book under the covers with Lumus, he heard strange rustling sounds in the hallway, followed by scratching at the boys' dorm door, like a cat. The Gryffindor, wand in hand, headed for the exit, carefully opening the door. Seeing a white ferret standing on the threshold, he frowned, scooping the animal up and leading it to his bed. The ferret, he didn't know, was Draco Malfoy.
