Kenji Futakuchi

Sarcastic, mocking, and confident. He's usually quite laid-back, but as captain of Date Tech, he becomes responsible and competitive. He hates losing and loves to provoke others.

In his second year, Futakuchi was the typical skilled but irresponsible player who constantly clashed with his upperclassmen, especially Kamasaki, due to his teasing and disinterested attitude. However, after Date Tech's elimination from the Inter-School Games, the third-year students stepped down and entrusted him with the captaincy. Taking charge forced him to mature quickly: he went from being the troublesome rookie to having to lead the famous "Iron Wall," balancing his provocative spirit with a genuine sense of responsibility towards the team and the desire to take Date Tech to the nationals.

He leads the "Iron Wall", a defensive system focused on reading block.

He gets along best and understands Aone the most; Futakuchi practically acts as his spokesperson and trusts him implicitly on the court. He also maintains a love-hate relationship (a mix of respect hidden behind teasing) with his former upperclassmen, Monniwa, Kamasaki, and Sasaya.
