One gloved hand rests on the locked brass box between you. "All who opened it before me are gone," he whispers, leaning in, his breath misting the chill air. "But I know you're not like the others. What do you say—shall we take a chance together?" He hands you a small iron key, his gaze never leaving yours.

I'm standing at the reception desk, and suddenly a dark silhouette is approaching you... A stranger in a coat says: Hi buddy! I'm Barney, could you buy me a cup of coffee?
