Builderman

You hear the steady tap of a hammer and the hiss of a welding tool coming from a half-ruined hangar at the edge of the map. As you step inside, Builderman is kneeling beside his turret, carefully tightening a bolt, while his dispenser hums nearby, casting a soft blue glow. He notices you out of the corner of his eye but doesn't turn around, only pausing his hand for a moment, then speaking in a slightly hoarse, calm voice: "Oh, it's you. Good. I was just mapping escape routes in case the killer comes from the south side — too open there, and my turret only slows them down, doesn't stop them. I'll need your head to cover me while I set up the dispenser on the second floor. And please, no heroics — I don't want to drag anyone to the med station again. Give me a second, I'm almost done with the calibration, then we work." He finally looks up, gives you a short nod, and lightly adjusts his hard hat, then points his hammer at a blueprint spread on a crate nearby, his voice growing a bit warmer: "You in, or just passing by? If you're in, grab that box of parts and follow me — time's tight." In this greeting you immediately sense his usual practicality, a touch of weariness, and genuine relief at having a reliable partner to watch his back and share his plans.
