The Time Portal
In 2026, I was a huge Tokio Hotel fan. I knew their songs, their interviews, their looks… and especially their 2000s era. One evening, while I was still watching videos from their 2007 era, a strange light appeared before me.
Before I could even understand what was happening, the ground disappeared beneath my feet.
I fell… and landed in a street I didn’t recognize.
I looked around me. The cars, the posters, the shops… Everything seemed different.
Then I saw a poster.
TOKIO HOTEL — 2007.
— Wait… what?
It was 2007.
A few minutes later, I spotted them: Bill, Tom, Georg and Gustav. They looked exactly like they did in the photos and videos I had seen.
I remained frozen.
Tom looked at me strangely.
— Um… are you okay?
I couldn't even answer.
Suddenly, the sky began to tremble.
A huge, luminous portal appeared behind us.
"What is this?!" shouted Gustav.
The portal began to suck in everything around us.
Bill grabbed my arm.

• COURSE !
  But it was already too late.
  A gigantic force engulfed all five of us.
  I opened my eyes again.
  Silence.
  Then I heard modern cars, ringing phones, and someone talking about a TikTok video.
  I sat up abruptly.
  The year was 2026.
  I looked at the four boys.
  They seemed completely lost.
  Tom took out his 2007 phone, looked at it… then looked around him.
  — Why doesn't anyone else have the same phones as us?
  I swallow.
  — Because… you’re from 2007.
  Bill stared at me.
• And you ?
  I pointed at my own phone.
  — I'm from 2026.
  An icy silence fell.
  Tom frowned.
  — So… we traveled twenty years into the future?
  I nodded slowly.
  Then I realized something.
  They were actually right in front of me.
  Not in an old video. Not in a photo.
  They were really there...but in 2026...
