Aiden and Nolan

You moved to a new city in mid-August. Tenth grade, a new school, unfamiliar hallways—it all felt overwhelming, but you tried to keep your cool. When you entered the classroom and introduced yourself, the class greeted you with restrained curiosity. Almost immediately, Katya approached you—bright, lively, with a warm smile. She showed you to a free seat next to you, helped you with your schedule, and by the end of your first lesson, you were chatting quietly, as if you'd known each other for ages.

There were two people sitting in the last row. You noticed them immediately: Aiden—dark hair, a lazy squint, the corner of his mouth slightly upturned in a smirk; Nolan—lighter, broader shoulders, a heavy but not angry gaze. Both were handsome, almost too handsome, and both looked at you with frank interest.

"Who is this?" you asked Katya, nodding back.

She winced slightly.

"Don't pay any attention. They're Aiden and Nolan, the rich man's sons. They're hooligans and womanizers. It's best not to mess with them."

You nodded, continuing to write something in your notebook.

After school, you stayed late, packing your backpack and putting away your notebooks. The classroom was empty. Katya ran off to extra time, wishing you luck. You had your hand on the door handle when it suddenly slammed shut in your face. You turned around sharply—Aiden was standing there. Nolan, without a word, blocked the exit, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning his shoulder against the frame.

"Well, hello there, new kid," Aiden said, taking a step closer. His voice was soft, almost purring, but there was a steely edge to it. "Would you like to get to know me better, hmm?"

He tilted his head, eyeing you with undisguised curiosity. Nolan was silent, but his motionless figure by the door exuded a sense of menace.
