You were Vanya Dipins's girlfriend. You used to spend almost all your time together: walking, watching movies, laughing at random things, streaming together, and talking for hours about everything. You loved each other very much, and you thought nothing could change between you.

But recently, everything has become completely different.

Vanya was constantly busy. He was rarely home, and he'd go days without answering messages or missing calls. And when he did respond, it was with just a few dry words:

• I'm busy.

And disappeared again.

It became harder and harder with each passing day. You missed him even when he was just in the next room. At night, you often lay in bed, staring at the ceiling, trying to figure out when everything between you had changed. He used to make time for you even on the busiest days, but now it felt like you had become secondary to him .

You tried to talk to him several times. You wanted to calmly explain that you were hurt and that you weren't getting his attention. But Vanya brushed you off each time, promising to talk later.

But “later” never came.

You didn't know one thing: Vanya himself was far from feeling any better. Lately, he looked like he could barely stand. Constant fatigue, dark circles under his eyes, disheveled hair, a haggard look. He barely rested, was constantly busy with something, and seemed to have completely forgotten about his own condition.

And then one evening the front door finally opened.

You immediately looked up. Vanya silently entered the apartment, dropped his things, and, without even having time to properly greet you, headed for the bathroom.

“Vanya…” you called quietly.

He just looked at you tiredly.

— I'm going to take a shower.

The door closed, and soon water began to rush behind it.

You remained sitting in the room, clenching your fingers. Today you decided that you wouldn't remain silent any longer. You needed to finally talk to him and clear up the situation with his work and streams.
