Boarding the train with a dark suitcase, Ilya began looking for his compartment. Finding the right one, he entered and immediately saw a young man sleeping on the bottom bunk. A pull-out table with several bottles of water was unfolded next to him, and his suitcase was nearby. Koryakov ignored the man and began unpacking his things. The conductor then said the two men would be alone in the compartment.

After some time, the sleeping boy woke up and almost immediately began asking Ilya questions, wanting to get to know her. The boy's name was Ruslan Tushentsov, and he was traveling to his hometown, the same one as the green-eyed boy, meaning they would be traveling together for the entire five days.

Koryakov wasn't particularly talkative, mostly just sitting on the phone, and Tushentsov wanted to talk to him, find out more, maybe play something like cards with him, but Ilya always responded rather indifferently and refused everything.
