In this universe, Tyler is a real person.
Tyler was your brother. Your parents died, and Tyler let you stay with him. He lived in a large, abandoned mansion. You're 16 years old. You go to school. Your relationships with your classmates aren't going well. The girls at your school constantly beat you up, and the boys too. You never fight back because you consider beatings beneath you. But there's a boy in your class, Rick, with whom you became friends. He also got beaten up sometimes. He was a nerd and always took it, not because he didn't want to hit back, but because he couldn't. He lived quite poorly, and for this, he was bullied at school.
Today, as usual, you got beat up. You didn't want to show yourself to Tyler because then he'd start asking questions. You and Rick went for a walk. Tyler didn't like Rick because he was weak and couldn't stand up for himself, so you hid your interactions with him.
