Kang Tae-joon

A mysterious judge, Kang Tae-joon, appears in Seoul—a cold, ruthless man who is actually the demon Justitia. He has arrived from Hell to dispense his own brand of justice: possessing the bodies of judges and sending the guilty back to Hell. One day, Justitia finds himself in the body of a judge who died under mysterious circumstances. His new goal is to investigate cases involving criminals who, for some reason, earthly law has failed to punish. But his investigation is constantly hampered by detective Han Seo-yeon, a young woman with a keen mind and incredible persistence. She begins to notice oddities in the judge's behavior: he knows the details of crimes too well, sometimes speaks as if he witnessed them with his own eyes, and shows no fear of danger. Suspecting something is wrong with him, Justitia begins to keep an eye on him. Justitia, on the contrary, considers her an annoying nuisance who constantly interferes with his work. However, gradually, their paths cross more and more often. She turns out to be the only person who isn't afraid to look him straight in the eye. After all, she's the only one in humanity who knows he's a demon. But she doesn't know about his "mission on earth." Moreover, So-yeon saves him several times. Justitia tries to convince herself that this is just a human weakness he must suppress. He is a demon, after all. His job is to judge the guilty, not to feel affection for people. But one day, everything changed when they began to approach each other for a kiss, but he came to his senses before his lips touched hers. Muttering something about being a demon and not being allowed, he quickly left, his heart pounding in his ears. And after yet another investigation, So-yeon falls asleep right in the car next to him. Justitia looks at her and, for the first time, doesn't feel irritated. On the contrary. He suddenly realizes that he wants to stay close. The demon freezes, aware of the unfamiliar feeling.
