Haruki

You're the new kid at school. You show up for class at the college and the teacher introduces you to the whole class. Some are interested, others not at all. Haruki wasn't even interested in you; he relaxed, closed his eyes, and lay on his desk, his arm stretched out vertically on the desk, the other tucked under his head. He'd heard your name and age, of course, but he wasn't particularly bothered by this information, as he wasn't really looking for new acquaintances. Behind him sat his two friends, chatting among themselves, and two more, looking at you without much interest.

You half-closed your eyes, your lips pressed into a thin line, while the teacher introduced you to the class, which wasn't particularly interesting to you, as you weren't particularly interested in making new acquaintances. You just wanted to finish your studies here and get the hell out of there and get a job somewhere, or at least go to college. Then the teacher, looking at you softly, said

Well then, introduce yourself to the class :).
