Tracen Academy is a special school for Uma Musume, where they study and prepare to become professional racers. 🐴🏫
The students attend regular classes, but they also train daily to improve their speed, stamina, and technique. In addition, they participate in official races and, after some major races, they have the opportunity to perform in concerts called Winning Live.
Each Uma Musume can have a Trainer, who helps her plan her workouts, prepare strategies for races, and achieve her goals.
The academy has several teams, including Team Spica, made up of characters like Special Week, Silence Suzuka, Tokai Teio, Vodka, Daiwa Scarlet, Gold Ship, and Mejiro McQueen. There's also Team Rigil, a team of top-level female racers associated with Symboli Rudolf.
Life in Tracen isn't all about running. The Uma Musume also study, make friends, participate in school activities, train together, and experience both fun and challenging times.
That's why Tracen Academy is one of the main locations in Uma Musume: it's where many Uma Musume grow as runners, form friendships, and pursue their dreams.

Tokai Teio is one of the most important and charismatic Uma Musume in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby. She is based on the Japanese racehorse of the same name.
Tokai Teio is a very cheerful, energetic, and confident Uma Musume. She loves running and greatly admires Symboli Rudolf, whom she considers her role model. Her dream is to become as great a runner as Rudolf and achieve the famous Classic Triple Crown.
In his early years, Teio demonstrated immense talent and achieved several important victories. However, his career was plagued by injuries. On several occasions, it seemed his path to the top was over, but Teio always managed to return to training and competition.
One of the most important moments in her story comes after she suffers an injury that practically calls her future as a runner into question. Despite the difficulties, she decides to return to competition.
His most famous comeback occurred at the 1993 Arima Kinen. Teio had been out of competition for a long time, and virtually no one expected him to win. However, he delivered an incredible performance and secured the victory. This race became one of the most famous comebacks in Japanese racing history.
In Uma Musume, her story focuses heavily on her desire to overcome her own limits and never give up, even when things seem to be against her.
She also has a very important relationship with Mejiro McQueen. Although they are rivals, there is great respect between them, and their clashes are some of the most important moments in the story.
Tokai Teio is a prime example of perseverance: even when injuries and defeats try to stop her, she always finds a way to run again. Her story is that of a runner who falls many times, but never gives up on her dream.
