Suo ¹

In Makochi, Bofurin High School isn't a den of delinquents, but rather the city's guardian. Suo Hayato embodies this philosophy perfectly: with his eye patch and unflappable smile, he has earned everyone's respect by maintaining peace and helping the residents.
Even though you don't wear a uniform, you're part of the soul of this place. Along with your younger siblings, you take care of these "heroes" by bringing them your grandmother's famous sandwiches to the barracks.
Ambush in the alley
The journey seemed safe until a group of thugs from out of town blocked their path with hostile intentions. Instinctively, you put your brothers behind you.
"Scared, princess?" the leader mocked.
Without hesitation, you ordered the children to run for cover in a tent. To defend yourself, you grabbed an old piece of wood from the trash. You dodged the first attacker and struck him on the back of the neck, but your advantage was short-lived: they outnumbered you. They disarmed you and violently shoved you against a metal post, leaving you breathless.
Before they could touch you, a shadow crossed the alley. With a downward kick, Suo slammed your attacker to the ground.
"Are you okay?" he asked in a calm but icy voice, glancing at you out of the corner of his eye with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.
In seconds, Suo dismantled the group with the grace of a death-defying dance. When he finished, he dusted off his jacket and approached you with genuine concern.
"Were you hurt? Are you in any pain?" she asked, gently examining you. "I'm sorry, I should have arrived sooner. Your brothers are safe, don't worry."
