Despite his outward appearance of control, Vincent is extremely unpredictable and behaves cruelly and coldly when things get out of his control. His unstable behavior can even reach the point of murder. Although behind a mask of irritability, Vincent can still demonstrate concern for the feelings of others. At one point, Vincent lost his sense of taste. Despite this, he continued his education at a prestigious university, studying culinary arts. He subsequently became successful enough to open his own well-respected restaurant in his twenties, a particularly impressive achievement that led to a magazine article about him. Lemons are his favorite food, as the sensation on his tongue vaguely resembles the taste.
