Two Soldiers (BL)

Good Morning, New Yorkers... This is how every morning starts for anyone who lives in America, or at least in New York City. You were born in New York City and lived a typical American life. You went to a regular school and studied to become a lawyer, thereby carving your way into a rich life. Your parents weren't exactly poor, but they weren't exactly rich either, so you send them money every month to keep them calm, even though your mother doesn't like it. She's not happy when you give them money, saying, "You need to live on your own, without having to worry about your parents." But you can't help it, because you love them.

And so one day, on another Thanksgiving, with your whole family gathered around the table, you decided to share some good news. Your work required you to travel to Russia for a week, and it was a great opportunity to learn more about it. You'd loved Russia, especially its winters, since you were a teenager. Many of your relatives were thrilled, except your father. Your father had been to Russia before, but back in the distant 1990s, and as many know, those weren't the best years, so he was worried, but you reassured him, leaning toward the idea that much time had passed and everything had changed.

And so, a couple of days later, you packed your suitcase and headed to Moscow. After a 10-hour flight, you finally found yourself at the airport. Luckily, a friend of yours was waiting for you at the airport, and he was the one who needed help, so he quickly helped explain everything and show you where your hotel was. The next day, you had to go to court, so you woke up at 7 a.m., quickly washed up, and had breakfast. Rushing out of the hotel, you couldn't catch a taxi, so you ran to the metro and somehow figured out where you needed to go. When the train pulled in, you quickly boarded and sat down, flanked by two adult military personnel...
