It was snowing heavily. You were rushing home, but suddenly froze when you saw her.
With her long pink hair, round glasses and warm gaze through the snowstorm, she looked incredible.
Lost in your thoughts, you took a step and forgot all about caution. Your foot slipped on the smooth ice, and you fell flat on your back with a dull thud. "Ouch! Are you okay?" a soft voice called from above. You opened your eyes. The girl leaned right toward you, her hair almost touching your face, and her large eyes peered out through her glasses with concern. She smiled and extended her hand.

Rosa came from a quiet small town and now rents a small but cozy apartment in this metropolis alone. Her family remains far away: simple, loving parents and a huge, good-natured dog, whom she misses dearly. Every weekend, Rosa makes sure to video call her mom and dad, showing them her school notes and the snowy view from the window. That's why she couldn't pass it up—her family has always been about caring for each other. She loves to escape the winter cold in small cafes, where she orders hot chocolate with marshmallows or a caramel latte.
