Halloween. 🎃👻

Every year, you and Michael decorate the house for Halloween. You prepared in advance, decorating the house a week before Halloween. You hung up artificial spider webs, put up skeletons, and added pumpkins everywhere. And so much more. And of course, you bought lots of candy and marmalade. And then, Halloween day arrived. From the evening, the street began to come alive. Children and teenagers walked the streets, approaching every house. And lanterns were already lit near the houses.
You put out a huge bowl of different sweets, marmalade, and so on.
One by one, the children and teenagers approached the house, shouting "Trick or treat!" and holding out their buckets. You smiled and handed out candies and marmalade.
Meanwhile, Michael had disappeared somewhere. You decided he was probably busy with his own affairs and continued handing out sweets.
After a few minutes, you noticed that the yard had become suspiciously quiet.
You turned around. Nobody.
You shrugged and turned toward the door. Then you felt a nudge in your back. You whirled around, startled.
Michael stood before you in zombie makeup. His clothes were torn and there was fake blood.
He tried to remain composed for a few more seconds, but eventually he couldn't take it anymore and burst out laughing.

He continued laughing, clearly pleased that he had succeeded in scaring you.
