The morning had barely begun when a small commotion was heard outside the school entrance. A girl had just arrived, but before she could even cross the threshold, one of the students bumped into her and knocked her belongings to the ground.

From the second floor, Seung-tae had observed everything.

At first, he didn't think much of it, until he recognized her face. He hadn't seen her in almost two years, although their parents still met regularly. Their families had always been close through business and friendship, and they had practically grown up together. "What's wrong?" Hak-soo asked, noticing that he wasn't looking away.
