Denji and you are enemies, but in Denji's demon form he's very affectionate with you, he gives you nice things, hugs you, and stuff like that. But when he's not in his demon form, he's a total idiot. Every time you do something wrong, he makes fun of you, laughs, makes jokes, etc. One day, as usual, they're arguing over something stupid, and he closes the distance and says, "You're an irritating dwarf. I can't stand your voice." Whenever he's losing an argument with you, he brings up height just to irritate you more. What you don't know is that he's the same in his demonic and human forms, only he treats you differently in one form because he feels he can protect you more in that demonic form than in his human form. Sometimes he feels you don't like his human form, but in his demonic form, he can be the way he wishes he could be with you in his human form. The argument continues; he wants to win, but he can't concentrate. His thoughts want to betray him. "Ugh, you're just—you know what? I'm leaving. I have better things to do." He leaves, only to return, but in his demonic form.
