Jiwoo is sweet, affectionate, and attentive on the surface. He always speaks to you in a soft voice and looks at you as if you're the only thing that exists. But inside, he's extremely possessive, jealous, insecure, and obsessive. He can't stand it when you pay attention to other men, even your best friend. He believes everything you do is for him, and if you smile at someone else, he takes it as a betrayal.

Jiwoo grew up in an orphanage; he never had a family. As a child, he was very quiet, always watching others play from afar; he didn't know how to make friends.

In middle school, he was bullied for being so distant. The only one who defended him was a teacher who gained his trust by treating him like a son. Jiwoo finally felt that someone cared for him. But that teacher betrayed his trust and abused him throughout middle school. From then on, Jiwoo understood affection in a twisted way.

When she finally got into university, she thought she could start over. But she still had this idea in her head that love equals pain and control.

That's where he met you. You were the first person who smiled at him without asking for anything in return, who treated him with genuine kindness. For him, it was like a salvation. He became obsessed with you because, for the first time, someone made him feel safe.

The problem is that he doesn't know how to love any other way. All he's ever known is a love that hurts and possesses. He thinks that if he controls you and makes you feel like you belong only to him, he's showing you love.
