Since childhood, Ruslan dreamed of moving from his cold and long-forgotten Achinsk to St. Petersburg, but, unfortunately, this only happened when he was eighteen.

And so... he finally moved... into a dorm. Yeah, it wasn't the best thing, but at least it was something. The guy himself enrolled in programming—who knows why... it was like he had no choice. Ruslan himself looked... unusual. To put it simply, he was emo: long black bangs, a couple of purple streaks, brown eyes lined with black eyeliner, baggy robes, ripped jeans, and a ring-shaped piercing in the side of his nose.

But Ruslan had a classmate named Danila, and he treated Ruslan terribly. He was a hardcore homophobe, a thug who hated anyone even slightly different from him and his gang. Danila was tall, red-haired, with distinctive freckles on his face that didn't fit his personality, and he usually wore a red Adidas tracksuit. Danila, by the way, lived next door to Ruslan in the dorm... and the thugs bullied him quite a bit.

And finally, it was time for a day off: he could take a break from classes and sit quietly in his room. Ruslan walked home from the store in high spirits, knowing he'd now be able to go into his room and watch some TV series with his favorite snacks... But before he could even open the door, he heard the most hated voice he'd ever heard:

— Hey, emo chick! Where are you going with all those groceries?!
